Remembering the moment an oak tree was felled and then burnt in his garden, perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena dreamt up the Poivre Samarcande eau de toilette swirling with notes of old oak, crackling pepper and musk. The smoky fragrance pays homage and is named after the city spice caravans passed through on their journey from East to West.
